Getting started with Brightkeel

This guide takes a workspace admin from an empty account to a first live onboarding plan. Most teams finish it in a day.

1. Connect your CRM

Go to Settings, then Integrations, and choose Salesforce or HubSpot. Brightkeel needs read access to accounts, contacts and opportunities, and write access to the health score fields it creates.

Salesforce

Install the managed package, then authorize with an integration user. Fields sync both ways every 15 minutes.

HubSpot

Authorize the Brightkeel app. Brightkeel adds company properties for health score, health band and onboarding status.

2. Send product usage

Send usage from Segment or Snowflake. Each event needs an account id that matches your CRM.

analytics.track("Report Shared", {
  account_id: "001Ax00000AbCdE",
  plan: "growth"
});

3. Connect support and billing

Connect Zendesk or Intercom for support data and Stripe or Chargebee for billing. Each connection takes a few minutes and backfills 12 months of history.

4. Launch your first onboarding plan

Pick a template from Brightkeel Onboard, assign owners and invite the customer's admin to the portal. The plan appears in the customer portal right away.
